The machine for cleaning the fap filter and DPF filter, after the work is done, throws out a slip with information on the degree of cleanliness of the filter.
REASONS WHY THE DPF FILTER SHOULD NOT BE REMOVED
- If you remove the DPF filter, you lose all EURO norms and the car is treated in the same way as a car manufactured before July 1992.
- A car without a DPF filter has a lower market value.
- You risk turbine failure. When the filter is located right behind the turbine, and it is removed, there is no negative pressure created by it and it can happen that the turbine burns out.
- Driving a car without a DPF filter is prohibited in EU countries.
- Without it, fuel consumption increases at higher speeds and higher revs, because the sensors that control it have been removed.
- The introduction of a law in Serbia is expected soon, which obliges owners of cars with Euro 3, 4 and 5 standards to have a catalytic converter or a DPF filter.
